Continuity task

Our task was to put together a video that helped us to understand continuity within A level media. 

We were given rules to stick to including:

This diagram is very simple and  helps me understand this shot most as it is clear and shown what is right.
While filming you had to stay on one side of the action. while each character is talking the camera is facing the from behind the other character without breaking the 180 degree rule.


Search of Match on action:
Match on action (or cutting on action) is an editing technique for continuity editing in which one shot cuts to another shot portraying the action of the subject in the first shot.

Search of Shot reverse shot:
Shot reverse shot (or shot/countershot) is a film technique where one character is shown looking at another character (often off-screen), and then the other character is shown looking back at the first character. Since the characters are shown facing in opposite directions, the viewer assumes that they are looking at each other.
